Can't see India winning this. They have been ritually thumped by Australia (and England) for the past 6 months. Their bowling is weak and despite the bluster, the batting is average at best. oz v NZ for the final. The 2 best teams by some margin
Australia, the one dimensional team of slashers, danshers and faulty techniques that it is, has run out of luck.
Wahab Riaz really exposed the weaknesses of the Aussie batting line up, and but for the horrible fielding, no doubt induced by a drunk, boorish crowd,
Pakistan would have won and the Aussies would have been free to sit at home and watch the AFL, or whatever else they prefer, rather than complaining about Corporate Hegemons to assuage the moral guilt that comes from being too lazy to back your team.
India, will win tomorrow, and we get to play the brilliant, well mannered and champion team that is the Kiwis. Anyone can win the final, I'll be equally happy. In fact, I'll be happier if NZ win, but that for later.
I hope the Aussies can make a fist if it and give us an interesting match tomorrow, even though it's not even going to be close to the quality of the last game. On a spinning track, with the crowd behind India, with the pressure on the game, the horrible techniques that most Aussie batsman have against spin are going to be split wide open.... Unless... Unless the curator lines up right, or bows to pressure and... Well.
